yup! today's the salted fish outing. not as fun as i expected i'll say. but veri long nv c them. we decided to go kbox instead of ice skating cos there got alot of ppl. BIG mistake. cos my voice cmi today. got cough n sore throat. sounded horrible. cannot even finish one song properly cos it took me alot of energy to sing. waste my $12+.
but tt's not the main pt. missed ernah's singing. esp her phantom of the opera song. hee. n u know wat?? the ppl who wanted to go kbox are brenda n ernah! the 2 ppl hu always said tt they dun want to go! normally it'll be me n sarah asking them if they want to go there de.
b4 we started singing me, bren, ernah n sallie exchanged present for secret santa. i was sallie's secret santa n stupid brenda tricked me into tinking tt sallie was oso my secret santa. turned out tt brenda was my secret santa. n she gave me a big teddy bear! veri cute one. kept hugging it when im feeling sian(cos cannot sing). ive named it liao. bian da. brenda's nic(which i had bestowed on her last time). i've gotten sallie a mickey mouse handbag which i dun lyk. BUT know tt she'll lyk :) n ernah kept saying tt she'll give thongs to the other person. poor brenda. in the end she oso got her retribution. sallie got a thongs too! sexy pink one somemore. goes with a sexy top too. heheheh.
after tt we went to eat at pizza hut. then took those funny photos up there.^ then.. tt's it. it's 12plus n no one's home yet!! my family members all outside celebrating. n i came back at 10.30pm. close to my curfew! wats this?

loved the rides at sunway lagoon. better than sg's rides but lesser variety 4 us cos their main target grp is little kids.
shopped ALOT. esp me. 1st time i bought more stuff than the rest. ive bought: 7 shirts, 3 footwear, 3 bags, 1 keychain for my locker, 1 earring, 1 BIG teddy bear(pinky) etc. HAPPY!
we din play any games indoors cos we shopped till really late then go back to the rm. watched an ice hockey match in the shopping centre next to the hotel. really nice to watch. the ang moh team was really violent. n the other team looked really small in build. so they used strategy to win. really great match. the angmoh team used every opportunity to 'accidentally' fall or bump into the other team. bump until one of the opposition's team member had to be carried away. loved the angmoh referee. he tried to play some ice hockey himself when the game's over. yeah. TRIED. hilarous mans.
on the way back. halfway thru the journey i had to stop the whole bus cos i needed to use the toilet urgently. i went to the toilet alr half an hr b4 tt ok.. its just tt i drank too much water during tt toilet break so i had to go again. anw i wasnt the oni one hu's terribly in need of the loo so its not tt bad ;)
ytd went all the way to woodlands to do extra cip with maio sia. sort of wasted my time there. cos this time i din walk ard to ask ppl 4 donations. i just sat n wait 4 ppl to come. so.. we din make alot of money tt day. much lesser than during my actual duty. n there were more ppl ytd. felt kinda guilty. but it wasnt as tiring as during my actual duty. cos i really walked ard n ard on those days. went to watch Night in the Museum after tt with maio. veri veri nice movie. superb. really shud watch it if u havent.

1st competition!! super duper, extremely, acutely, highly,truly, terribly, greatly, enormously, exceedingly, remarkably, most excited, feverish, delirious, heated, restless, exuberant, exhilarated etc. (got all these frm the thesaurus. so if i use them wrongly, blame it :))
wahahaha!! im gg crazy. in just the last official training b4 the competition i was even missing the board a couple of times! (tt was the day we rushed frm the kls chalet) i was shooting so badly tt i got veri sian of shooting. tt time sick. so vomitted. luckily vomit halfway thru arch. then can go home. whee! but i was shooting really badly then la.
so.. i decided to be hardworking *pushes up specs, standing tall* n went 4 training on thurs! (jun hong ps-ed me n guohao. ~!@#$%^) praveen n hanrui were there too. anw.. the main point is: i've improved alot! frm missing the board(wad the..) to shooting within the blue rings!(whee!)
(guohao was aiming to shoot all within the bullseye. grr..) after tt we went ALL THE WAY to clementi EVEN THOUGH we could have stayed in jln jurong kechil to play pool. we were gg 4 lunch 1st b4 meeting maio cos she stayed quite far. but we ended up meeting her when we were gg 4 lunch. ahem.. shall not elaborate it further. hee. played 4 a while then gh left to meet his boyfren. *opps! accidentally spilled the beans!* then me n maio continued playing. then she dragged me literally(kidding. but the thought is funny) to orchard to watch movie. had to buy slippers cos my feet were dying. training ground was extremely muddy n wet. ended up buying the same slippers as maio cos its on sales. then.. my feet could breathe! .. the movie screening was delayed for half an hr. but they made it up for us by giving us free popcorn n drinks. wat we really wanted was the drinks cos ours finished(b4 the movie started) but they din deliver it. anw.. still got free popcorn! heheh.
WAIT! here's the highlight of this post: i've improved even more today during archery maintence! not the official training la. i kip shooting within the red n yellow rings. heheh. but sometimes the arrow will go to the blue or black when im not concentrating. whoa. concentration is really essential mans. pray 4 me! pjc's 1st arch com n we dun have any supporters. is tt gd or bad? i really really dunno.

Some interesting facts i've found out abt 'myself' or rather.. my name in wikipedia when i was feeling very bo liao:
there r TWO TYPHOONS named after me! (yeah, named after me. not me named after them heheheh) Shanshan wreaked havoc in Japan, with reports that it caused a tornado which derailed a train. It made landfall first in the Yaeyama Islands, where it caused heavy rains, and later in Kyūshū. The outer bands of Shanshan also affected South Korea. Shanshan also knocked power out to thousands of homes in the two countries, and killed at least eleven people. The exact damage figures are not yet known. 2006 Typhoon Shanshan. (point to note: the shanshan mentioned here is not me. so i din kill anyone.)
Shanshan is the chinese of a kingdom!! Shanshan (Chinese: 鄯善; pinyin: Shànshàn) is the Chinese name for a kingdom that existed roughly from 200 BCE-1000 CE at the north-eastern end of the Taklamakan desert including the great salt lake known as Lop Nur.
Japanese in Tottori City celebrates the SHANSHAN festival (kasa-odori) (pic above)! The Kasa-odori is very popular in the eastern part of Tottori Prefecture. According to the legend in Kokufu Town, in the Edo Period (A.D. 1603-1867) during a drought, an old man named Gorosaku danced with an umbrella (kasa) for the village God praying for rain. Gorosaku danced with the umbrella until he died, and the drought ended. These days, the dance is performed with ornamented paper umbrellas and Japanese swords, which represent the beautiful but gallant local culture of Tottori.
SHANstate! (see above for the state's pic) Shan State is a state located in Myanmar (Burma), which takes its name from the Shan people, the majority ethnic group in the Shan State.
There's also a Shan language used by 3,200,000 people! (abt 60% of Singapore's population)However, few Shan are literate, and many are bilingual in Burmese. The Shan State became independant last yr in may n it's now called Federated Shan States.

CHURCH CAMP PART 2
DAY 3. PYRO-FUTURISTIC.
4got to mention.. in day 2 got policemen n women came at nite cos some neighbours complained
tt we were too noisy. hee.
anw in the morn we played captain's ball. got hit in the face n my lens came off. luckily my house is just in front of me from the badminton court where we were. so i went up to change into my spare specs n sun bian change. hee.
the speakers 4 the sermons r all veri gd. managed to stay attentive throughout all the sermons even though i was extremely tired.
forgot to add. the food there was great! fantastic. the drinks r unlimited unlike last yr. n the food oso lyk nv ending de. so got alot of leftovers.
n it din rain on impt days lyk day 1 n 2 where we had to have gd weather 4 amazing race n treasure hunt. phew! thank god. n it rained 2 days worth of rain on day 3. cool huh. it practically flooded the fish pond area. hopefully the fishes din swim out of the pond n into the drain.
anw.. we went to bathe n plan 4 the campfire. after one rehearsal min hai had to leave. felt really insecure cos no one to lead. so me n yisin went thru the rehearsals 4 once more b4 doing the props n other stuff. really rushing 4 time. n i tink i got a little too serious cos yisin wrote in my autograph bk later saying tt i can get really serious sometimes... after the rehearsal grace n xue min did makeup 4 all of us n put some funny things on us to make us look 'futuristic'. the funny thing is tt nigel n zhihao were the ones hu kip asking 4 more makeup, shiny hairspray n glittery eyeshadows. cute. p6s.
during the campfire itself we did really well n better than during the rehearsal! woot! n we got 2nd!!! tot tt we would get 1st at first de. but oh wells. had loads of fun.
after campfire the camp comm hanged out in the fu tang n zi high. until the police called again.
so they zi high softly by doing some stupid actions 4 songs lyk teletubbies n hosting some kid central show. "-_-" tt time cannot high with them cos i tired n sianned. so oni laughed with them.
din join them 4 the feeding of grass jelly. had constipation 4 days liao. dunno y need to shit but cannot shit. on day 4 when i reach home can shit.
willy toked to me abt sth he noticed. veri observant. its true but im not sure if he interpreted correctly cos i had really enjoyed myself during the camp, not forcing myself to enjoy the camp. tink its cos my church frens din c the side of me yet. not tt close to them mah. went to slp immediately after tt.
slept at 2am. if u havent noticed, i was sleeping an hour later each day.
DAY 4. SEPARATION. T.T
last day. found out tt most of them slept under the stars at the rooftop. jealous.
after the closing ceremony (received a calculator frm stellicia cos im the treasurer......................) me grace corrine minhai meijun n stellicia went crazy n started to do funny actions while singing songs from the camp booklet. caught stellicia's surprised gaze cos she nv seen me this crazy b4.
drag until 3 plus then went 4 lunch with the rest of the camp comm. told each other several really lame jokes. then zi highness ended. so i went home. the end. got to know more ppl in church more. :)
NIGHT OUT WITH THE GURLS!!!
yup. the gurls. we were totally crazy. after dinner at ding tai fung we went to starbucks at wisma 4 dessert. ern had a craving 4 cakes. but got no sofa seats. so we sat at the small round table to wait 4 ppl to leave. then we talked abt alternatives to have desserts. halfway thru one of the sofa seats was available. but some guys beat us to it. bren wanted to glare at them till they let us. haha. act cool. wasted. then we continued discussing of a place where its 24-hr n nice to tok n sell cake. wanted to go sallie's house to stay but got rejected yet again. when we decided on holland v, sallie scared me n ern by shouting "eh! got seat got seat!" whoa. then me n ern quickly get up n run! HAHAHAHAHA. im typing this n laughing to myself. n ernah nearly fell down cos we bumped into each other while running. mans.. cant stop laughing now. bren n ern n sallie saw a family of 3 nearby laughing at us openly. grr.
anw.. here's the sad part. we went to the cake display n found out tt there's no more cakes left!!!!! wah!!!!!! all those efforts n embarrassment 4 nth! then we left. leaving the family to laugh even more. ern went to hide at the lift area n continued laughing. when we entered the lift the laughing continues. n i waved at the family. tink the father saw. n some ppl looked kinda scared or frightened of us. hee.
n here's the worst part. we realised tt the exit is at the level of starbucks! so we shudnt have taken the lift at all! noo!!! then we went back up, not to the original floor but the level below starbucks cos we were too ashamed to c those ppl again. haha.
after tt at 10pm plus, we took bus to holland v(near everyone's house) to... starbucks again! this time they had more cakes n its 24-hr. so we bought our cakes n went up to chitchat. we played the 'i have nv...' game. not fun. cos sallie n ern was veri tired. had tummyache cos of the gingerbread latte. too bus home with bren at 12 plus. luckily the door not locked. otherwise i'll wake either of my parents n receive naggings again. note to take: ive asked 4 permission to stay out late b4 i agreed to go to holland v hor.
n tt concludes the exciting nite with the gurls. cant wait to c them again on christmas.

i was assigned helping out at the registration with 3 other ppl. there were some prob wif the name tags. then we went 4 amazing race around parts of sg to other presbyterian churches. ran lyk mad. luckily zhe hao came. cos he somehow knew all the locations of the churches. plus he runs at the speed of lightning, w/o looking at all tired! the stations ah.. quite fun. one of which we have to look 4 3 strangers to take pics wif: malay, indian n chinese. yi sin completed tt in 5 mins. another one we had to go to a passerby n tell him/her tt we came frm the national health dunno wat. n tt we r here to inform them tt the psi of the day is 50. the 1st passerby was kinda scared cos a grp of us just suddenly ran up to her. haha.. veri funny. she clutched on her bag n said "i no money. im gg to the bank now." ok.. i tink she either tinks tt we're gg to ask 4 donations or rob her. the 2nd person listened n asked "then?" min hai said "er.. take care of urself n drink more water." n he replied "thank you!" haha. after the last station we ran to catch the bus 170. veri slow bus. a couple of buses tt goes to church passed us. whoa.. tt time ah. heart attack. kip looking in each bus to check 4 red ppl. (we were wearing the red camp shirt) luckily.. we were 1st! so we became the guinea pigs 4 the last station in church. which is the sliding-on-the-soapy-ground station. after dinner we had night walk where we were blindfolded n led around the church. super easy. cos can c abit of the ground. but the walk was super long so i closed my eyes. oso super easy cos i grew up in tt church. the grp leaders of other grps came to disturb us n made us do duck walks. n halfway thru my big bro came to disturb me even though he's not a camper. ............ tried to hit him back but failed cos i was blindfolded. not bcos i missed hor. our grp got last 4 the night walk. the camp comm slept at 12am+++ cos of the meeting. day 2. kidnap.4got to intro my grp members. min hai(grp leader), yi sin, grace(prog ic), xuemin(pub ic), n 3 p6s: nigel(super cute), zhihao, joey(super quiet) n of cos.. the 2 p6s boys were super noisy. but veri cute. during the night walk they kip saying things lyk 'lame la' or 'not scary one'. (which caused our grp to lose alot of pts) but i tink they were actually scared. anw, the sermons dun really apply to me at this period of time except the sermon of temptation. hee.. we got 1st again 4 station games. guess its cos grace told us tt the team spirit veri impt. so we cheered lyk mad 4 each other. veri veri veri fun. loved wan jie's station the most. its where we had to pick up cards n follow the instructions on it. my grp ah.. veri high. then nigel fell n hurt his butt. cried a little but when the teacher of our grp asked if he cried, he said 'no la!' hahaha.. so cute la! most of what we did got caught on camera. soo embarrassing. oh. my grp's name is moses. n our cheers dun require shouting so if we feel sian the cheer will still sound gd.after tt we had campfire discussion. i dare say tt most of the ideas came frm me. felt great abt it. actually i dunno wat to do one. until ppl's ideas came then i tot of how to make it funny. hee. so happy. after tt we were supposed to play treasure hunt but it got delayed until quite late. so stellicia n sophia came up with lame but fun stuff to do while waiting. luckily zhe hao came. tink nigel's veri fond of him. :) he kip talking abt him as milo man n always veri excited when he came. anw.. min hai went missing. ive realised halfway thru the camp tt he was kidnapped! by the prog ics of cos. cos i rmb seeing the poster 4 the treasure hunt saying 'hostage rescue'. yi sin veri pro. her eyes super small but its always her hu finds the clues. there were some prob with the clues. but overall it was fun. more running here again. my legs were dying then. at the last station we had to carry min hai frm the music room to the audi. tt's y i said luckily he came. he carried mh alone up 2 flights of stairs. n we came in 3rd. quite gd. the grp leaders veri poor thing. they werent allowed to leave the dark, cold rm to the toilets. so they had to hold it till we came. camp comm meeting ended at 1plus.to be continued.. later. cos veri tired now.
